Accounts Assistant – Grimsby
Our client, a fantastic employer with a brilliant reputation, is looking to recruit an experienced Motor Trade Accounts Assistant
Providing support to the retail centre accountant in all areas as directed.
Ensuring the maintenance and accuracy of accounting records and systems.
Producing detailed, accurate and timely balance sheet and ledger reconciliations.
* Allocating Payments
* Sending Statements
* Chasing Payments
* Providing Weekly reports on customer account status
* Placing purchase orders for the sales team
* Matching Delivery notes to invoices
* Checking for any invoice discrepancies
* Process Invoices onto sage
* Check supplier statements
* Generate monthly payment list
* Chase credits for any returns
* Knowledge of Nominal Codes
Working knowledge of Kerridge DM system would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided
Good I.T skills with a sound working knowledge of Excel
Analytical/Mathematical skill is a must
Salary details – £25,000
Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
