Financial Reporting Manager – Grimsby – To £55,000Chase & Holland are delighted to be working with this market leading, fast growing international group of companies who are offering a fantastic opportunity to join their group finance function as Financial Reporting Manager.You will report into the European Group FC and will manage and develop financial/regulatory reporting across the group, including the preparation of financial statements, consolidated accounts, notes and technical information. You will be the main point of contact to the internal and external auditors, along implementing new standards updates and monitoring financial conrtols. Salary & Benefits Package:

The Financial Reporting Manager role will involve:
Ownership and preparation of annual statutory financial statements for 40 legal entities, including 1 set of consolidated Group financial statements prepared quarterly

Key point of contact for external auditors, including responsibility for the smooth running of the auditing process

Maintaining professional awareness of current and evolving IFRS standards so able to provide technical accounting standards support to central team, including preparation of technical papers

Ensure consistency of application of accounting policies across group companies.

Preparing reports for the Board highlighting key accounting issues and technical developments

Supporting coordination and production of the Group's Annual Report

Supporting with the analysis, collation and distribution of data/information
The ideal candidate will be:
Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or ICAEW qualified) with strong PQE experience

Experience auditing or preparing large group multi-currency consolidations

Experience auditing or preparing statutory accounts (IFRS and FRS101)

Likely first move from practice

Experience in IFRS and UK GAAP

Be comfortable producing a set of statutory financial statements
