EQUANS are recruiting for a Property Maintenance Builder to be based in Grimsby DN32. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.50 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £24,000 – £26,000 per annum DOE, company van and benefits package.

General Overview

EQUANS have identified a great opportunity to introduce a property building maintenance technician to their Facilities Management (FM) team. We are looking to employ a confident and motivated professional to work at the North East Lincolnshire contract with a desire for career and personal development opportunities. The successful candidate will be competent and qualified in building maintenance tasks which may include joinery, plastering, bricklaying and concreting.

What will you deliver?

Knowledge and experience of delivering professional property building maintenance activities (joinery, plastering, bricklaying, concreting)
Ability to deliver of daily maintenance work activities
Ability to diagnose and problem solve building maintenance tasks and provide guidance on remedial maintenance activities to ensure minimal disruption to customers
Ability to read technical documentation drawings
Ability to complete reports
Knowledge and experience with managing and working within Safe Systems of Works (SSOW)
Knowledge and experience of identifying new or replacement parts/materials
Support maintenance projects.
Participate in an Out of Hours maintenance service, where required
Time management and the ability to handle a complex workload
Knowledge of CDM 2015 regulation
Operate within the policies, systems and business plans of Asset Management and EQUANS.
To delivery all works with compliance to EQUANS Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality (SHEQ) standards and policies in line with ISO 18001 (Health & Safety), 14001 (Environmental) & ISO 9001 (Quality).
Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably expected at this level.

Have served a recognised construction apprenticeship
Ability to work as part of a multi skilled team or on own when required

A full driving license because jobs involve travel between several sites
Flexible to meet the needs of the service
Able to work on rota providing out of hours cover (usually one week in every eight)

Membership to a professional body compatible with the role
Communications skills that sustains information flows
Time management and the ability to handle a complex workload are important
Health and Safety Qualification in construction
