Working with one of our well established clients – Network Rail. They require applicants from PTS workers to join a team with regular weekend work.

Having your own transport to and from the depot is your responsibility.

About the role

Working for a national client you must be prepared to use a shovel and work in a pway environment. Ideally, a white hat although we are accepting applications from blue hats. The work content can vary weekly but is mostly changing sleepers or prep works.

Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: ongoing full time 

shifts on a rota basis nights- 2200-0800 saturday nights, sunday to thursday nights 2200-0600 , days monay to friday 0700-1600

Start Date: 18.03.23

Requirements

PTS sentinel card – valid/in-date

small tools tickets

Skills/ personal Qualities needed

Be strong, with plenty of stamina.

Be energetic and healthy, as the work is physically hard.

Have good hearing and colour vision.

Be good with their hands.

Cope with working in wet, cold, or very hot weather.

Work well as part of a team.

Have a strong sense of responsibility, as the smooth running of the trains and safety of passengers depends on them.

Be able to use tools efficiently.

Cope calmly with emergencies

Salary

Salary:£14.00 per hour days £15 nights £16 weekends

Payment Type is Umbrella PAYE / PAYE
