A wonderful Alternative Provision School based in Brigg is looking to find a warm, supportive and outgoing recent graduate for a superb SEN Teaching Assistant role supporting children in a small classroom with special educational needs. In this role, you will be supporting the class teacher during lesson time whilst creating a warm and engaging class environment for children following an Education Health Care Plan.
In this role as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be paid 80 per day during term time in a Monday to Friday position beginning immediately and ending in July 2023. You will also have access to our Online CPD College with the opportunity to study a free subject enhancement knowledge course on topics such as Safeguarding, Mental Health Awareness and SEN.
SEN Teaching Assistant — Applicant Requirements:
Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree
Psychology or Education based degree desirable
Strong academic background
Prior experience working with young children
Naturally warm and supportive personality
Passionate about supporting children with SEN
Excellent organisation & communication skills
