Being a supply Teacher…
Most of the work will be booked in advance but there may be occasions where you will be called between 7am and 9am for work on the same day.
Most schools will provide the planning for the day but you will need to have a bank of resources to hand, suitable for all year groups – just in case. Working across various schools you will follow each schools’ policies, mark the children’s work and provide handover notes for when the class teacher returns.
How does it work?
The first step is a tele conversation with one of our skilled consultants to discuss the process of clearing you for work and the types of work we have available in your area. If this seems like the type or role for you, we will then proceed to clear you for work.
